Launching our new digital service
Qualifications Scotland replaced the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) on 1 February 2026. We’re moving everything you’ll need to our new website. Over time, you can expect to see new and improved digital services, designed with your feedback and input.
Finding what you need during our website changes
Qualifications Scotland course documents and materials can be found on sqa.org.uk. Please be assured that this is now a Qualifications Scotland website and all information is current.
Connect, Secure, SOLAR and Understanding Standards services are all still running, now under Qualifications Scotland.
Please note – Some downloadable materials still show SQA branding and references. We're gradually updating these as part of our changes. Please keep using all existing resources, certificates and information.

Why is this happening gradually?
We want to transform the way that we deliver our services. To do this we're working with our key audiences to design qualifications and services fit for now and the future. Our website content will also go through a full redesign, to make information clearer and easy to find.
